You may submit up to 8 nature-themed images. Format each as a JPEG file, sRGB format at 72 pixels per inch, with 1920 pixels on the long side. Label each with your name and a sequential number (such as: Jones_Mary#1.jpg). Email the photos as attachments (not embedded) to: sierraphotonyc2@gmail.com.
To make sure our presentation runs smoothly, we ask that you send images via email ahead of time. Deadline for submitting images is 11:59 pm on Saturday, September 19th. We would like to feature some of our Members’ Night photos on the sierraphotonyc.com website and assume you give us permission to post one of your photos unless you indicate otherwise.
*NEW LOCATION*
Please note our in-person meeting this month will be held in a new location, THIS WILL BE THE ONLY MEETING AT THIS LOCATION, the remaining meetings for this season will be back at our old SVA location. This new location is still part of the School of Visual Arts, however it is located at 214 East 21 Street (Between 2nd and 3rd Avenues), 2nd Floor Classroom 205-A.
We will be raffling off items to be repurposed. If you have working photography items, cameras, tripods, bags, books, or anything else that you are no longer using, please bring them in for our raffle. Tickets will be $3 each or 5 for $10. The money will be a donation to SCPNYC.
