The Art of Photography is the Print
“The Art of Photography is the Print”, based on Ansel’s well known assertion. The lecture will cover all of the basic steps necessary to get from a properly exposed capture to a custom fine art digital print. A sixteen page downloadable document will be available for future reference. Most important, I will be displaying a 40”X60” fine art digital print produced according to my proprietary printing workflow. Some of the topics covered will be proper setup of your camera, calibrating your monitor, and custom printing profiles. As critical or maybe more so, is the quality of “light”, covered in detail. All of this is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s mantra, “To See Things Unseen”.
