We are very happy to announce our first members’ meeting of the season! You will be able to choose to join via Zoom or to meet in person at our usual meeting place, the Metropolitan Opera Guild at Lincoln Center. All members will receive a Zoom link but we hope many of you will join us for a night of catching up on our summer adventures and sharing our nature-themed images (we plan to serve refreshments!). You are also welcome to join the group for dinner after the meeting at our favorite gathering place, Old John’s.
We will adhere to COVID protocols according to the rules of the Opera Learning Center. Masks are required when entering the building and in the elevator, but are optional in the meeting room.
Those joining by Zoom should be sure their Zoom identifying name is the same as the name used to contribute images, so that we can announce you properly.
Donations will not be requested for this meeting and we will work out a fair policy that encompasses in-person and remote participation moving forward.
Deadline EXTENDED for submitting images: TUESDAY, September 27 at 6:00 p.m. We cannot accept images at the meeting on September 28.
You may submit up to 8 nature-themed images. Format each as a JPEG file, sRGB format at 72 pixels per inch, with 1280 pixels on the long side. Label each with your name and a sequential number (such as: Jones_Mary#1.jpg).

We would like to feature some of our Members’ Night photos on the sierraphotonyc.com website. A committee will select one photo from each contributor. We will assume you have granted permission to post one of your photos unless you indicate otherwise in your submission email.
We’re really looking forward to celebrating our first in-person meeting since 2020 and hope many of you can join!
