As summer comes to a close and fall approaches, we are planning our next group exhibit at the Ryan Chelsea-Clinton Health Center, entitled “Urban Nature.” It is a compelling theme and we look forward to seeing your interpretations. Your images should portray nature in the five boroughs of NYC.
We will send an email this month with details and entry form. The deadline for entries is October 14, and the entrance fee is $35.00. You may submit your completed entry form with a check and two images at the September meeting. Framed photos are to be delivered on November 2, with an opening reception on Wednesday, November 9 and takedown on March 1.
The Friends of Sierra Photo NYC Facebook page has been a huge success with over 100 members who have been posting some incredible images! We urge you to join and share.
Our first meeting of the new season on September 28 is a Members’ Night. We look forward to seeing what you have been shooting over the summer or perhaps what you might submit for the “Urban Nature” exhibit. Bring a friend and we look forward to seeing you on opening night!
