Zoom Links for Speaker Events
Moving forward, Zoom links for meetings will come from Eventbrite only. We will not be sending out additional emails with the Zoom links for the speaker events. A couple of things have been changed to make this work more smoothly:
- We have removed the requirement to log into your Eventbrite account in order to access the meeting Zoom link.
- We are manually creating the Zoom links, to ensure they are correct.
Peer to Peer Help Sessions
The board has been thinking about the best way to facilitate this. We have decided to provide a space before our Zoom only events, for people to ask any questions they may have. The floor will be open to questions between 6:30 and 7:00 PM, before our speaker starts.
We will have a hard cutoff at 7:00 PM for the speaker, so there may not be time for all questions. However, anyone on the call who has an answer to someone’s question can chime in to help! You may have questions ranging from post-processing and camera gear to troubleshooting Eventbrite or Zoom. So come early to the Zoom-only meetings—this is the time to get help.
