Creating a Global Archive
April Anderson is a photographer, videographer, editor, and the “Head Instigator” behind the Art As Air Project. She will delve into the creative process of how she uses film making to spotlight artists, adventurers, and change makers through powerful stories told in their own words and images. Together with husband Marin Chytil, they aim to build bridges across communities of all backgrounds and identities, creating a global archive that celebrates unity, passion, and human connection.
Their documentary For A Wild Tomorrow showcases the inspiring work of the non-profit Wild Tomorrow, which is dedicated to protecting endangered wildlife and restoring natural habitats in South Africa through conservation and re-wilding efforts.
Their latest project, set for release in 2025, focuses on the endangered Faroese horses and the ongoing mission to preserve this rare and resilient breed.
