We hope you all had a great summer and took lots of new nature photos. September is, of course, our first Members’ Night of the new year, so hopefully we will see some of your new work. We have a great year planned with interesting new speakers and lots of field trips. Our brand new computer and projector will require higher resolution images for Members’ night so please check the specs in the meeting article in this newsletter. (You might also add a little contrast and saturation for projection??) Don’t forget to prepare your favorite picture for our exhibit, In Pursuit of Nature. It opens on November 5 and the opening reception on will be on Wednesday, November 11. Deadline day for submissions is September 30, the date of our first meeting of the new year. We will need lots of volunteers to help hang the show, tend the snacks and drinks, and take down the show, so mark your calendars and please volunteer.
